Manchester City sign up Holland’s Pies

Holland’s Pies, the North West’s leading producer of pies and puddings, which already supplies fresh pies to a range of top flight sports clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Blackburn Rovers and Burnley, is set to supply the Manchester City faithful with their range of ‘big eat’ pies from the start of the new season, thanks to a new contract it has won with Lindley Catering, who supply the club.

John Benson-Smith, Executive Consultant Chef to Manchester City visited the Holland’s factory to taste the new products, as part of the ongoing relationship between the two organisations.

We all know how much people in the North West love Holland’s – there was even an appeal for them on one of our message boards – so I’m sure the fans will be ecstatic.”

Amongst the pies to be sold from the start of the new season will be Holland’s new cheese and onion pie. Vegetarian Society approved and made from cheese produced by an award winning Lancashire creamery, Holland’s new cheese and onion pie is set to be a new stadium favourite.

Holland’s employs 370 people at its Lancashire base and is part of Northern Foods. The company enjoys a 60% share of the market in the North West, an area where 92% of people have heard of Holland’s Pies.
