Holland's Pies launches a hunt for north west's best mum

To mark Mothers’ Day on March 22, Holland’s Pies, the Lancashire-based pie producer, is offering one family the chance to give Mum a night off from cooking by winning a chip shop meal once a week for the next 12 months.

Supplying more than 1,000 chips shops in the north west with its unbeatable product range including meat and potato pies, cheese and onion pies and steak and kidney pies and puddings, Holland’s Pies is asking its fans to nominate their mother for the special Mothers’ Day award.

Neil Court-Johnston, Managing Director of Holland’s Pies, said: “Flowers wilt, chocolates melt but the memory of a fantastic Holland’s Pie lingers. With our special Mothers’ Day treat, we can ensure one family enjoys the taste sensation of traditional British food at its best, week after week, while Mum gets a chance to have a rest from the kitchen for the night.

“All we need to know is why your Mum is one in a million and why Holland’s Pies is a family favourite in your household. Give your Mum a rest and let us take care of the dinner for a change.”

Holland's was first established in 1851 and produces more than 80m chilled and frozen pies, pasties and puddings ever year. It employs more than 400 people at its base in Baxenden near Accrington.

As well as being enjoyed by millions every year, Holland’s Pies are also first choice for some of the country’s best football clubs including Premiership sides Manchester United and Liverpool.
