Holland’s launch Peppered Steak Pie perfection!
Holland’s Pies, the North-West’s best known producer of pies and puds, is about to launch its Peppered Steak Pie to retailers throughout the region – on the back of public demand.
The pie, which features chunky pieces of tender steak slowly cooked in a dark rich creamy peppercorn sauce, has been produced at the request of Holland’s Pies customers, as Neil Court-Johnston, Managing Director of Holland’s explains:
“As always, we have been listening to our customers and they asked us to consider adding something new to the range. We’re pleased to have been able to respond positively with the Peppered Steak Pie. We’re convinced it will become a Holland’s classic.”
He continued…
“The idea behind it is tradition with a twist. We’ve taken all the things people love about our pies, but we know peppered steak is a flavour which appeals to people looking for something a bit different. These pies have been available in chip shops, football clubs and fast food outlets for a while. We’ve packed them with tasty filling and people just can’t get enough.”
The new Peppered Steak Pie will be available in Asda and independent retail outlets from April 19, and will be supported by in store sampling in a number of Asda stores throughout the North West.
Packs also include clear and simple cooking instructions, which highlight Holland’s suitability for microwave cooking thanks to their unique pre-baked format.
The Peppered Steak Pie has been developed with the help of Holland’s now famous ‘Pie Panel’ of talented tasters chosen from around the region. This latest development follows a busy year that witnessed the launch of the new cheese and onion pie, made with mature cheese sourced in Lancashire, and the new Best Ever Authentic Range of chilled and frozen pies.

had 2 of these pies from tesco, warrington. first was fine, 2nd contained piece of bone 3/4 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch which cut gum. Rang customer services, manager came to house 1 week later to pick foreign body (bone) up with packaging, that was 26 jan 2011, its now 3/2/11, still heard nothing (not even re-imbursed for pie), wont be having the peppered steak again (too dubious about it), and if this is there idea of customer care no wonder northern foods is getting took over!

Hi Michael - we're in Iceland stores nationally and have some distribution in Asda and Tesco outside of the North West. Or have you tried our online shop?
