The waiting is finally over

Holland's have announced the arrival of a new range of chip shop pies and puddings just in time to generate sky high sales in chippies throughout spring in the North. 'Just Steak' is just that - mouthwatering pies and puddings that contain just chunky steak and Holland's special recipe gravy and seasoning. For customers who are not keen on kidney but absolutely love their steak, 'Just Steak' will be an immediate favourite.

Don't just take our word for it

Before we developed 'Just Steak', we asked chippy owners what they thought, here's a few comments: "I get loads of people asking for steak only these days - people don't like kidney." "People are coming in and asking for steak without kidney. The older folk love the traditional recipes but the young ones are put off by the offal."

'Just Steak' is the first major core product launch for 2 years so it's an incredibly exciting time for everyone at Holland’s. We’ve been doing everything we can to guarantee its success too. Extensive taste tests, tweaks to the recipe, more consumer sampling, more refinements to the recipe - we're leaving nothing to chance.

Live trials of new 'Just Steak' products in chip shops have been a big success. 200 chippies took part, over a 6 week period to gain customer feedback and gauge the potential demand. The feedback and sales have been really positive - so much so, that 'Just Steak' will roll out across all Holland's chippy customers. Here are just a few comments:

"The feedback’s been brilliant, the product is fantastic! We used to sell Greenhalgh's. Before the switch, one of our customers stopped buying puddings from us. I saw him outside the other day and asked him to try the new 'Just Steak' pudding. He didn't say anything but he's been back three times this week!"
