Why (apart from loving our pies!) did you want to become involved in the Pie Panel?
Pie tasting sounded like a dream job!
What have you most enjoyed about the Pie Panel process?
Spending time with people who are passionate about pies - meeting the friendly and enthusiastic Holland's staff and other like-minded pie panellists.
What is your first/favourite memory of Holland's Pies?
I really like the anticipation as I pull into the car park at Baxenden before participating in the pie panel sessions and being part of developing and refining the Holland's taste
Where in the world would you most like to eat a Holland's Pie?
Anywhere and everywhere is good to eat a pie – however I travel a lot on business and already have taken several abroad to both Europe and the US. As a flying instructor, I occasionally eat them enjoying the view several hundred feet above the Lancashire countryside.
They also make a great skiing snack, so eating them on the top of the Grande Motte in the Espace Killy with my family would be cool.
If my daughter gets married, then one course of the wedding feast will have to be Holland's pies!
If you could create any flavour of pie, what would it be?
Living in the north west and spending a fair amount of time outdoors it would have to be Sunshine flavoured!
