What is your favourite flavour of Holland's Pies?
I love the meat and potato.
Why (apart from loving our pies!) did you want to become involved in the Pie Panel?
My housemates make fun of me for loving pies and when one of them saw the BBC news website saying Holland’s were looking for pie tasters she forwarded it to me. They never thought I would apply so I did and proved them wrong!!! I never in a million years thought I would get it!
What have you most enjoyed about the Pie Panel process?
Eating all the pies!! I find it very interesting how much time and effort goes into selecting the perfect combination of ingredients for a pie to go on sale to the general public.
What is your first/favourite memory of Holland's Pies?
Getting lost on my way to the factory and then seeing how large it is! My favourite part was when we were doing the blindfolded taste tests, you had to put a lot of trust into them guys they could have given us anything!
Where in the world would you most like to eat a Holland's Pie?
Either a remote island off the coast of Australia or up a mountain in the Rockies. But in both instances I would either have my friends or family with me, it’s not fun eating on your own!
If you could create any flavour of pie, what would it be?
Ohh there are so many to choose from!! Something along the lines of a roast lamb dinner with potatoes and veg and gravy, or chicken with tarragon and butternut squash. Anything as long as there is no peppers or aubergine!
