We’re old romantics here at the bakery, so when someone suggested that we come up with a special, limited edition pie to celebrate Valentine’s day we thought, let’s do it…and we did! For your chance to win some of these pies and have them delivered direct to your door on 14th February, keep on reading…

Our lucky competition winner Chris Gibbons will be getting his Valentine's Pies delivered on Monday, but you can still try one for free if you visit one of the following especially selected chip shops on 14th February 2011:
Burnley: Bellfield Chippy, 72, Parliament Street, Burnley BB12 3JZ
Bolton: Flounders Chippy, 108 Church Street, Blackrod, Horwich BL6 5EG
Fleetwood (Blackpool): Ferry Cafe, Promenade, Fleetwood FY7 6RF
Blackburn: Holly Tree Fish and Chips, 6 Pinewood, Blackburn BB2 5AD
Wigan: Gidlow Plaice, 427 Gidlow Lane, Wigan WN6 7PN
Note: Pies will be handed out on a first come first serve basis, strictly one pie per customer and because these are very limited edition pies each participating chippy will be supplied with a maximum of 6 - so get there early!

To get your taste buds going this is what goes into our extra special Valentine’s pie recipe – chicken, perry cider, asparagus in a lemon infused cream sauce, all topped with smoked oysters (that’ll be the aphrodisiac then!) and a gold leaf heart shaped lid!
We’re offering one lucky Holland’s fan the chance to win half a dozen of these most romantic of pies and to have them delivered direct by one of our famous vans, on the big day itself…Monday 14th February 2011!
To enter the competition all you need to do is the following:
1. Send an email (one per person) to valentines@hollandspies.co.uk with the following message in the ‘Subject’ box at the top of the email: Valentine Pies Competition Entry
2. In the email simply tell us is in a sentence why you’d like to win the pies and whom you’d share them with. Remember to also include your full name, address and a contact telephone number that we can call you on during working hours.
That’s all there is to it!
We’ll be drawing, announcing and contacting the winner on the afternoon of Friday 11th February so we can arrange delivery on the following Monday…Valentine’s Day!
If you don’t win and still fancy trying one of our Valentine’s pies, we’ll also be supplying a very limited number to five selected chip shops across the North West on 14th February – more details soon!

Competition Terms & Conditions:
1. Closing date for competition entries is 1pm on 11th February 2011.
2. The prize comprises a box of six of our limited edition Valentine’s pies.
3. No cash equivalent prize is available.
4. We will only accept one entry per person.
5. Holland’s Pies will contact the winner on the afternoon of February 11th to arrange delivery on 14th February 2011.
