Peppered Steak Pie Wins Silver at British Pie Awards 2011
We received the great news this week that our peppered steak pie had won a silver award at the recent British Pie Awards held in Melton Mowbray.
The annual British Pie Awards were held on 08th June 2011 and featured 619 pies produced by bakers and butchers from across the UK. Pies were judged by celebrity chefs, pie experts and top food writers including Rachel Green, Tamasin Day Lewis and Charles Campion.
We’re really chuffed that our peppered steak pie won a silver award in the ‘Savoury Pie (Hot)’ category, particularly given all that stiff competition. Well done to all the other winners and if you want to find out more about the awards, check out this website www.britishpieawards.co.uk.
