Our Pies Go Down a Storm as Blackpool Fire Station Run in Aid of Motor Neurone Disease
We were contacted last week by Neil Morris, a Firefighter from Blackpool Fire Station, who kindly sent us some photos from the recent Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service St Annes ten-mile race.
More than four hundred runners took part in the race, with Neil and the team from Blackpool Fire Station raising over £250 pounds for Motor Neurone Research – fantastic job!
Also, on finishing the race, every runner was given one of our tasty pies, which according to Neil went down a treat – you can see the team who kindly dished out the pies in the photo below!
