East Lancashire Hospice is the first Holland's Hero!
After sorting through loads of entries, and after much debate, we’ve decided on our first Holland’s Hero – it’s the very deserving staff and patients of East Lancashire Hospice - www.elh.org.uk.
So, this week, they all got a surprise visit from Stan the Van Man, Holland’s mascot, complete with a bumper delivery of tasty pies to cheer everyone up during the cold months!
Sharon Crymble, the community fundraiser at the East Lancashire Hospice, made the nomination. She said: “It costs over £2.8m each year to run the hospice and we have a very loyal and dedicated team who work tirelessly to ensure the highest possible standards. They most certainly deserved a Holland’s Heroes visit!”
But more visits will take place throughout the month so we still need your nominations, so keep sending them in! All you have to do is email your reason why you, or someone you know, deserve all the pies, in less than 50 words to hollandsheroes@hollandspies.co.uk
