Competition winners are all smiles as they share a sofa with a Coronation Street star
Well what a fantastic Saturday we had at the Arndale Centre in Manchester on 19th June - not only did our competition winners get their photo taken with Corrie Star Graeme Hawley A.K.A. 'John Stape'...we also got to meet hundreds of amazing Holland's Pies fans who enjoyed tasting their favourite pies and puds!
As you'll know from the blog update posted a couple of weeks ago, we were at the Arndale Centre, along with ITV STUDIOS and other Coronation Street 'Best of British Brands' partners as part of a year of festivities celebrating Corrie's 50th Birthday.
The five luckly winners of our competition came along in the afternoon with their guests and met Coronation Street star Graeme Hawley, who plays wayward teacher 'John Stape' - as well as a group photo, each winner got to spend a few minutes chatting with Graeme who signed autographs whilst resisting multiple polite requests to divulge upcoming story lines...well done on that Graeme!
Our competition winners went home with very broad smiles on their faces...due in no small part I'm sure to the bags of free pies and puds they collected as part of their prize!
